Outreach

One of the primary goals of the Internet Crimes Task Force is to provide education to children, young adults, parents, educators and other members of society to help insure their Internet experiences are safe. We have come to realize that despite our best enforcement efforts, individuals who wish to do harm to our children are still prevalent in cyberspace and will continue to solicit our children. We dedicate our lives to keeping our children safe and preparing our children for life in today’s world, as is evidenced by our teaching of “Stranger Danger,” drug and alcohol education, and motor vehicle licensing in addition to internet safety.  As parents, educators, and law enforcement, we should not treat the online world any differently than the neighborhoods we live in. Our children are the first line of defense when it comes to Internet safety.
